My Hammond RT-2 was manufactured in approximately 1951. The serial number is 2159. I am the third owner of the instrument. RT-2s were in production from November 1949 to January 1955. It has vibrato on either or both manuals and an additional control for "NORMAL" or "SOFT" overall volume. The finish is walnut. Both the Great and the Swell manuals have 61 keys. There is a 32-note radiating, detachable pedalboard. There are nine preset keys and two sets of nine adjustable harmonic drawbars for both manuals. For pedal sounds it has two adjustable drawbars (16' and 8' pitches) as well as a solo pedal division. One expression pedal controls the great, swell and pedal volume.
